This past weekend, my Toronto Besties came up for the weekend. We did a few touristy things (walked around The Market, the Glebe and Westboro), went out for a good meal or two (Fresco, The Works), and just spent some needed quality R&R all together.
Saturday afternoon we decided to venture over to the Quebec side, to the beautiful Gatineau Hills in Chelsea Quebec. It was quite hustling and bustling. Lots of amazingly cute little bistros and souvenir shops, an antique show and some random farm animals for petting (refer to pig picture).
Fall has got to be one of the most beautiful times of year. The reds, golds and oranges of the leaves make a beautiful sea of color. It’s too bad that it only lasts for a few short weeks. I am lucky enough to have a distant view of the Gatineau Hills from the balcony of my condo. It is a pretty site to watch the sunset to. Make sure to check out the natural beauty. You won’t be disappointed.
