Sorry/Not Sorry for Winter

Winter has got to be the longest and dreariest season of the year. Dark days. Bitter cold temperatures. And so much snow. So what do we do to cheer up and stay warm? Find comfort, enjoyment, and warmth in the company of great friends and delicious coffee. In mid February, my pal and amazing photographer, Goran Petkovsky and I did just that. We at Sorry Cafe in Yorkville, sipped on great lattes and then did a mini photo shoot! Scroll through to see the results.

It was funny trying to take the photos inside Sorry Cafe. Fellow patrons thought we were crazy. Some caught on to what Goran and I were doing and coyly moved.
I can’t even deny the fact that it was probably minus 20 out and all I was wearing was a thin yet very stylish wool coat. My park would have been much more functional and appropriate.
These photos were taken a week or so after my return from Cuba. I strategically wore the golden yellow turtle neck to enhance my tan.

The little things matter to help us get through winter. I take great pleasure and appreciation for things like good coffee and an awesome outfit.
